You have been guided to Tir na Balc, the land of the fairies. In this land stood the Dragon King’s Tower, Yggdran, which housed hidden treasures that could bring peace. But one day, the Seven Devil Kings stole all of the treasures, and used their powers to turn the tower into a terrible dungeon.
Choose from eight different classes and a wide variety of cute character portraits to assemble your team of heroes and challenge the tower! Reroll your ability scores, and adjust your skills whenever you need to make the strongest team possible!

Warrior
Excels at fighting in the front lines. Boasting a high attack power, and adept with their weapon, they deal high damage to the enemy.
Sure Hit
Strike your foes with precision accuracy no matter the enemy type.
Onslaught
Attack all enemies in a row multiple times at random.
Knight
Protects the rest of the party. Dons heavy defensive armor, and can withstand any attack, becoming the party’s shield.
Protect Front Row
Has a chance to protect front row members from an attack.
Shield Rush
Charging attack with the shield, and depending on equipment, also stun the enemy.
Fighter
Brings down foes with their fist. Excels in AOE attacks and support.
Twister Fist
Deals damage to 1 enemy row.
Healing Qigong
Continuously restores own HP every turn.
Samurai
One strike, One kill. What this class lacks in defense, it makes up for in overwhelming attack power utilizing duel wielding.
Dual Wield
Can equip a weapon in each hand.
Swallow Slice
Deals a powerful attack to a single enemy, and then can take action again sooner after.
Ninja
Uses ninjitsu to bewilder the enemy. Access to various attack skills and also boasts high evasion.
Sneak Attack
Deals damage to 1 enemy while ignoring defense. Can be used from “Spy”.
Cicada Shell Jutsu
Evade attacks and renders them useless.
Gunslinger
A job that specializes in firearms. Attack power is not as high as the warrior or samurai, but… can deal great damage from far away.
Foot Bind
An attack that reduces enemy evasion.
Hunter’s Eye
Reveal information about enemies’ HP.
Cleric
Uses magic to heal and support the party. Sure to come in handy when the party is in a pinch.
Healing Magic
Restore 1 party member’s HP.
Earth Dragon Protection
Grants great resistance to all detrimental effects including instant death.
Mage
Uses magic to raze enemies to the ground. Deals damage from the back line, and also provides support abilities to the party.
Magic Power Up
Raises magic attack power of target.
Lightning Magic
Deals lightning damage to the enemy. Effective against water types, weak against earth types.
Enemies
You will encounter different kinds of enemies as you make your way through the Dragon King’s Tower. Keep your eyes on the color of the enemy’s emblem and proceed with caution. Take care to not run into a strong enemy, and face annihilation!
Orange: They won’t move from that spot.
Blue: Runs away from you.
Green: Moves at random.
Purple: Chases you as you move.
What the Critics are Saying
Mon-Yu is an excellent addition to the dungeon crawler library with a creative and unexpected concept that is very well crafted. To those already experienced in the genre especially, it’s a welcome breath of fresh air to demonstrate how it’s possible to modernize this RPG niche without losing its challenging essence.
I won’t type out its enormous full name here but Mon-Yu is a stellar dungeon-crawler that brought me back to the roots of why I love the genre. Just get a party together and kick some monsters’ butts; that’s all you need and Mon-Yu accomplishes that wonderfully.
